Pierce Bush, underage drinker

Tue Apr 25, 2006 at 09:59:07 AM PDT

I am hesitant to post this photo, but because it was passed along to me, I feel that it is acceptable to share it with this community.

This isn't breaking news, nor is it major news; it is not an eloquent critique of policy, or of anything else. It is merely a photo of someone doing something that countless American young people partake in, albeit it illegally. Underage drinking.

Pierce Bush, the nephew of the president, and University of Texas undergraduate, is pictured below with a bottle of Bud Light.

His birthday is, I believe, in March 1986, which would make him just over 20 years old.

An examination of three administrative reviews by the Army, reveals shifting testimony, the destruction of obvious evidence in the case, and a series of contradictions about the distances, the lighting conditions and other details surrounding the shooting, the paper will detail.

An absurd slam on Barack Obama

Tue Mar 14, 2006 at 07:39:53 AM PDT

I was perusing the blogosphere and came across the following post. It is a column of sorts, largely attempting to wax poetic about the loveliness and superiority of neo-conservatism. The author then moves to slightly criticize the current administration...before falling into the tired old rhetoric denigrating Democrats. But this is unsurprising. What caught my attention--and my ire--was his slam of Barack Obama.
